A lot of things keep drawing me back to Thailand, I said many trips ago that it would be my last time and now I’m headed back in a few months. It’s the perfect place to start travelling from, flights are cheap into Bangkok and cheap out if you want to go to neighbouring countries. I find Thai food to be wonderful as there are so many choices (even as a vegan) the fruit is unbelievable also. Thai people are extremely sweet and caring though sometimes I wish they would say what they are thinking instead of being polite. If you want to go to the tourist spots and meet people who are wearing elephant pants and just want to party you can! Or... you can go visit some islands that don’t get many tourists, ride the local bus, explore, volunteer somewhere, maybe go on a free mediation retreat and learn about Buddhism. There is so much to be done in Thailand and I am forever thankful for being able to get a visa on arrival. As one of the first places i ever travelled solo, Thailand will always have a place in my heart 🙏🏼

I remember that mall when I was a kid, back in the late 70's and 80's. It was a nice mall. It seemed like such a big mall when I was a kid, with a sears, Gayfer's, McRae's and I think at one point a Montgomery Ward. We moved to Nashville, TN in 1989 and I was so disappointed to see that our malls did not have an ice skating rink.

The only real problem I have with it would be the stairs. I couldn’t imagine coming home from the grocery store and having to deal with all those steps. Otherwise it’s not bad at all.
