My husband and I have gone through so much adversity. We had nothing when we met. We actually slept on a blow up bed for the first week 😂. Now we're married, have 2 kids, a nice house, car, are financially stable and we done it with his determination to provide and my unwavering support and commitment to him. I could have left him so many times when it got hard, but I know he would lay down his life for me and work his fingers to the bone and has over years and years. I look after the kids, house and take care of all his needs. Food is waiting when he gets home, clothes washed and ironed and hung up, a massage after a hard day and above all, PEACE when he wants or needs it. Not waiting to be asked, or even offering, but just doing whatever he needs brings value from me to him. He doesn't need to consider anything outside of his work and I take care of the rest.

Samus' trauma makes sense in the manga because it's the first time she's seen Ridley in years. However by the time of Other M, she's encountered and defeated Ridley 4 times (5 if you count Samus Returns). So her freezing up like that doesn't really fit her character.

I found interesting when she said “her dad was the the best dad” but then also said she doesn’t know how to wash dishes, or knew how a vacuum worked. Allowing your kids not to be equipped. Listening to her made me think maybe the fast money and her inability to actually be self sufficient or maybe not wanting to be self suffiecent got her on to this path. Just a thought
