Her good looks gave her an advantage. Whether people want to admit this or not. Pretty privilege exists, and if this was a man it would go down so different. I’m treated differently based on what I’m wearing, makeup, etc versus if I’m sick and look like hell. If you don’t think this woman got treated differently because she is pretty on the outside, you can’t see how ugly she is on the inside.

Thanks for mentioning douches. I'm 62, post menopausal, but I've only tried it once in college and it didn't sit well with me. Never did it again. My mother and every doctor I had always said don't douche because you'll wash away the good bacteria. I'm not necessarily a conspiracy theorist, but, looking at the so called feminine hygiene aisle, there seems to be a connection between these hygiene products and products to help with vaginal irritation.
