The mentality of today's youth has altered dramatically over the past decade based on this technological age where social internet culture dominates young society. It is contributing to poorer social skills but more importantly social boundaries are not learned through physical interaction. Perceptions have changed because of the anonymity of the net. We now have new descriptions for new types of social behaviour such as ''trolls'' and we have heard often enough the phrase that we are socially devolving (devolution). In fact new research is showing that social anxiety is on a dramatic increase among young people. The anonymity of internet socialising means there are no boundaries when interacting with others. Psychologically a physical group will automatically create boundaries within us as we are uncomfortable being ''the odd one out'' or not part of the group so we would naturally ''hold back'' effectively learning the art of conversation and ''socialising''. These are valuable lessons to be learned during our development, which more often than not are far less frequent. Even when in a social group such as school mobile phones, iPad's etc. are taking precedence. I think his project has been influenced by his non understanding of boundaries and desensitisation created through internet and online gaming culture.
